這間位於英國Bath的小小獨立書店Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights（B先生的快樂閱讀書市）
是由律師、會計師夫妻Bottomley辭掉工作、加上旅行回來的弟弟投資才創立的
嚴格說來他們都不是經營書店的專業人士
你卻可以看到這裡有大型連鎖書店缺乏的獨特個性
關於那位長途旅行回家的弟弟Harvey Packham
除了長相之外，他對於閱讀的一些癖好
讓我非常著迷：
I love reading in the bath, or on trains or buses in exotic countries. Or by a fire. Or on top of a mountain. Or on a bridge. Or when it's raining outside. Or in the middle of a crowd or an uproar. Or in a theatre during the interval. Really just anywhere that's not wet, cold, or uncomfortable.

喜歡在浴缸裡讀書
在異國的火車、巴士途中讀書
在火爐旁讀書
在山頂、或一座橋上讀書
喜歡外面正下著雨時讀書
喜歡在擁擠的人群中、喧鬧吵雜中讀書
在劇院中場休息時讀書
只要不是潮溼、寒冷、又不舒服
在任何地方 我都可以讀書
